On her way to the polls in Touquet, France, the first lady went casual for the occasion in a perfectly oversized blazer, classic skinny jeans and a white t-shirt layered underneath.

When it comes to the style of the French first lady, she calls on Louis Vuitton for everything from clothes to shoes and accessories. With shoes, in particular, she leans toward point-toe pumps with a stiletto or block heel, usually around 4 inches high. The French fashion house’s Eyeline silhouette remains one of her favorites, of course, but she also frequents the Matchmake court shoe and graphic-print ankle boots. The educator lives up to the style motifs of her native France, opting for layered looks and perfectly fitted pieces that match the aesthetic of the national style: chic, clean and understated.
