Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a mix between Space Mountain and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, which means that while it’s a fun ride for all ages, it still has a certain intensity to it. We usually get a lot of complaints about screen rides as these tend to cause more intense motion sickness in guests.
Since the first previews began for the ride, many guests have complained of motion sickness after experiencing it and this problem appears to have continued until the ride’s official opening.
Disney even added cast members at the end of the ride to hand out puke bags to sick guests, as happy hour Twitter user justintime (@DisneyWithBooze) shared:
A very large number of people taking vomiting bags at the exit… I understand! We rode row 1 and I’m still doing this face
