International fashion designer and owner of Jevon Terance Fashion Line is a long time resident of Lorain.

Founded in 2007 by its namesake, fashion line Jevon Terance quickly grew from a passionate hobby to a recognizable brand.

Terance has appeared in seven fashion shows over four seasons during New York Fashion Week, in addition to presenting his designs during Paris Fashion Week in 2015.

For the first time since the new coronavirus pandemic, Terance returns to New York to present its collections.

The collection will be presented during the Confessional Show Room and the SFW Fashion Shows.

SFWRUNWAY showcases high-end luxury streetwear brands during New York Fashion Week.

Terance is a client of The Confessional Showroom NYC, one of New York’s most acclaimed showrooms, known to fashion editors, stylists and social media influencers as the perfect place to discover new designers before -thinkers in New York and Miami.

He said he was very excited to be back in New York.

“I had to curate two different looks,” Terance said. “The Show Room is more glitz and glam, while streetwear is mixed with sneakers and laid-back pieces without dumbing down the collection.”

Terance said the collection is very special as it celebrates the brand’s 15th anniversary.

The 15-year-old collection is based on the X15 hypersonic aircraft, the first experimental aircraft to reach the far reaches of space.

“In 15 years, we want to take the brand to new heights, which is what the X aircraft, X15 has done,” said Terance. “This 15-year-old collection will do just that by offering a new color palette and mixing textiles; which pushes towards the future of Jevon Terance.

“I am happy to celebrate 15 years with collaborators across the country and in New York.”

Terance said that as the brand grows, his company is collaborating more with smaller manufacturing companies.

“It might seem weird to design something and not be the one making it,” he said. “But, it’s amazing to receive the product and it’s perfect.

“As we grow, I can’t be the one to sit around and sew everything up, so trust is a big thing. We work with small businesses so we can work efficiently, and that’s a good thing. adjustment.

Terance said that although he loves to travel, home is where the heart is.

“Family comes first, and that’s a big part of being stationed here,” he said. “I love my community, participating in local organizations and being a mentor; social networks play a big role in not having to travel.

He said he, his company and his supporters hope to hold a local fashion show in the near future.

“I love taking the energy of New York Fashion Week and bringing it back here in a private setting,” Terance said. “Ideally we’d like to do it before it gets too cold.”
