A frantic search was launched to find a 38-year-old woman who disappeared following a horseback ride.

Amanda Hull was last seen on Haye Lane in Ombersley, Worcestershire on Saturday at 9am when she went to pick up her horse and headed for stables.

West Mercia Police say they are increasingly concerned for her well-being after she does not return home.

Amanda is described as white, standing around 5 feet tall with blonde hair typically worn in a ponytail and was last seen wearing a bright yellow jacket and brown riding boots.

“She has ties to areas of Ombersley and Droitwich, but may have traveled further,” a force spokesperson said.

“Anyone with whereabouts information is urged to contact 101 citing incident 583i of May 22.”

Owners of a local restaurant shared the call online and revealed that police found some of his belongings nearby.

Fleet Holt posted: ‘Can the folks at Droitwich and Ombersley keep an eye on Amanda Jane Hull and let Carol Hull or Kate Nicol know if anyone sees her.

Amanda was last seen on Haye Lane, Ombersley, at 9am on 5/22/21 where she went to pick up her horse and proceed to the Hadley Stables.

“Amanda goes to the stables 6 days a week, but has never been there this morning.

‘She was seen on the horse, but the horse is back in the field and Amanda has not been seen since.

“ If anyone in the area on the morning of May 22 has any dash camera footage, or anything, please review them.

“Amanda is vulnerable and it’s obviously completely out of character.

‘She was wearing her riding clothes – black joulpers, t-shirt, hi-vis yellow coat and brown boots (suede and leather).

“The police have their phone, their bag and their hoodie. She has no money or phone, so if you spot her, help her and contact the police on 101 citing incident 00583i of May 22.
