In 2004, indosole founder Kyle Parson came into contact with billions of used car tires while traveling through Indonesiana. Car tires are a breeding ground for deadly diseases and have a major impact on our environment. Indosole found a better solution to this problem by recycling them and then using them as the base for the outsole of all slippers.

Indosole saves 1.5,000 tires per day dump by transforming them into flip flops sole,

Passionate about bringing education to the masses, Indosole aims to move from evergreen talk to a more refreshing approach. Indosole believes that with a playful approach, the company is able to shape buying habits future generations for the better.

True to the Indosole philosophy and the timeless ESSNTL collection, the environmentally conscious brand tried ways to find new materials that can be used from the waste. With the SS22 collection, Indosole takes eco to the next level and experiments with recycling sneakers. The result? Stylish flip flops and slippers with an iconic recycled sole in grey, red and orange.

The SS22 collection named LOST SOLE comes to life thanks to the SETT (Unique tire technology). By collecting previous sneaker collections from leading shoemakers and turning them into stylish slippers, Indosole keeps them from ending up in landfills and being burned.

“The Indosole base has been our”recycled tire tread technology“featured on all our shoes. This year we’ve picked up an exciting new material innovation called ‘The Lost Sole’ which adds more color and personality to the brand. Using the same process of powder coating our tires, we now intercept the sneakers pieces from big shoe brands and put them on the street like a new pair of Indosole sandals.
