Hannah’s flying spree began on December 1 when he cornered a 7-Eleven on Benstein in Commerce Township and again more than a month later on January 26. Eventually, a tipster alerted Dearborn Police investigators to a possible suspect with the “Chozenn_One” account on the Snapchat phone app and that was all investigators needed to establish the connection.

“Based on my training and experience, I believe that because of (Terrell-Hannah’s) fair complexion, victims of armed robbery, observing him in the circumstances and wearing the clothing described above , might describe him as white or black,” the FBI said. wrote a task force officer.

Once authorities noticed the thief and Hannah were wearing the same white Nike tennis sneakers with red accents, they knew they had their man and obtained a search warrant to search his home for evidence. . After raiding his home, they found the tracksuit that was allegedly used in the robberies, a black Glock handgun, and of course, white Nikes with red accents. Hannah knew the jitter was up and confessed everything.

“(He) admitted to committing the four armed robberies described above and admitted to using the black backpack with a floral design in all four armed robberies,” the officer wrote. “(Terrell-Hannah) explained that the skeleton gloves seen in the robberies were actually part of a full skeleton suit.”

Terrell-Hannah is currently being held without bond as he awaits his detention hearing Monday in federal court in Detroit. He has been charged with “robbery affecting interstate commerce and possession of a firearm in a violent crime” and faces more than 20 years in prison if convicted of the charges. It seems a bit too much since he didn’t kill or shoot anyone, but it is what it is.
